Organic and Unorganic Waste Management
Bogor Nirwana Residence (BNR) area, managed by a subsidiary, PT Graha Andrasentra Propertindo Tbk (GAP), since 2011, has collaborated with residents and the city government to manage waste with the principles of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle (3R). The form of collaboration is carried out by creating a Temporary Disposal Site, which every month processes 30 tons of waste into useful products such as fertilizer and raw materials for other plastic products.
Turtle Conservation in Yogyakarta
The Alana Hotel & Conference Center Malioboro (The Alana Malioboro), a Bakrieland Business Unit in Yogyakarta, has been participating in preserving the rare green turtle and olive ridley turtle since 2017 in collaboration with the Gadingsari community by building a turtle hatchery and supporting its operations. Since then, the hatching success rate has been >70%, the number of eggs handled is >2,500/year, and >13 thousand turtles have been released into the sea involving tourists.
Mangrove Conservation in Lampung
Kalianda Nirwana Resort Lampung has been implementing a CSR program in the form of mangrove conservation since 2011. Until now, Bakrieland has collaborated with the local mangrove activist community, allocating 35 hectares of land, more than 20,000 mangrove trees have been planted, and 1,000 m2 of land for an educational location for the Lampung community who want to learn about mangrove trees.
